Interestingly this paper prove that VIP neuropeptide penting utk kasi brain impulse in sync. Same mcm how SCN secrete VIP utk entrain light and distribute the impulse coherently.

Ada satu eksperimen dorang sambungkan SCN yg sihat kpd patient yg ada SCN xleh buat VIP ni. And that experiment shows that, VIP from SCN sihat dpt menolong SCN patient tu berfungsi dgn baik n restore balik circadian rhythm patient tu.

VIP and other neuropeptide bukan sahaja berfungsi untuk kontrol the strength of neurotransmitter signaling tpi juga berfungsi utk pastikan sel otak berjalan dgn selari. Kinda like marching band leader.

VIP bukan sahaja di hasilkan oleh SCN tpi organ yg lain mcm stomach and pancreas juga rembeskan peptide ni utk secrete enzyme penghadaman.
