Dry brush and Guasha

1) Dry brush. So dry brush ni saya mulakan in early 2020. I bought loofah fr Ali express at RM42 for two tak silap


Dry brush ni teknik pemberusan kulit di mana kita berus kulit kita dalam keadaan ia kering. Selain dari loofah, ada juga yang menggunakan berus seperti gambar di bawah untuk gosok-gosok kulit. Ada dekat Watsons

Kebaikan dry brush: 1) Merangsangkan lymphatic system kita. Lymphatic system ni macam sistem pembentungan dalam badan. Our personal indah water. Boleh tersumbat sehingga sistem pengaliran terjejas. Bila terjejas, toxins terkumpul & sistem jadi stagnant. Kentut pun susah.

2) Membuang sel kulit mati dan bersihkan liang roma! Kadang-kadang, kita tak perasan, we moisturise our dead skin! Saya suka berus kering dekat betis & buku lali. Sebab geli seyy situ kekadang lepas mandi pun ada hitam halus2 tak hilang

3) Ouhh dry brush pun melancarkan sistem peredaran darah. Thats why it is said dry brush practice can boost your energy! What I always do is, sunning pepagi sambil gosok, jangan tak gosok, gosok sampai berkilat ~~

Tatacara berus kering. Mulakan dari bawah towards center of the body. Kalau mula dari kaki, tolak ke atas, betis paha . Kalau nak gosok tangan, mula dari tangan naik ke siku, bahu dan gosok ke dada. Kita berus mengikut aliran sistem pembentungan badan kita. Saya rujuk gambar:-

Saya suka buat satu kawasan setiap satu masa. Contoh:- Gosok betis dalam 5 kali sampai nampak kepingan kulit kulit. Gosok tak perlu kasar-kasar. Sebab ada bahagian kulit yang nipis ada yang keras. Saya gosok perlahan-lahan sebab nak melancarkan “longkang” bawah kulit tu ya

Lepas selesai betis, saya gosok paha pula. Sama juga, tolak ke atas. 5x juga. Ingat ya, dry brush ni buat masa kulit dalam keadaan kering. Saya selalu buat masa sunbathing. Lepas sunbathing, mandi, buang all the dead skin. Pastu pakai la moisturiser if you want.


Gua sha ni merupakan terapi muka yang menggunakan peralatan seperti roller, strokes or ceramic spoon or metal spoon (macam saya guna)

Berapa kali saya gua sha muka? Depends. Min sekali seminggu. Max 3x. Saya ada masalah penghadaman, kekadang susah kentut atau berak. Saya suka gosok dahi. Bila saya gua sha? Saya gua sha masa tengah mandi lagi lagi kalau haritu rasa nak mandi air panas. Dahi = intestines.

Ada hari saya gua sha, memang berkepuk, berkumpul coklat2 dekat sudut sudu. Geli kan? Yes memang geli. Saya suka guna sudu besi sebab senang buang blackheads/dirts. And sangat-sangat memuaskan bila berjaya buang lekit/kotor2. Esp bila dahi congested

Folic acid vs folate

 avoid folic acid. Take folate or folinic versions instead.

Ni sebab mthfr do well gluten free, sebab tepung mostly dah added folic. Roti2 and baking goods mmg racun for us. Tepung paleo keto je selamat. But sun helps a lot. Brocoli cabbage kalau angin 2 possibilities 1. CBS mutation. 2.gut

B12 is made in sunlight by the liver. Folate destroyed in sun made in darkness. It's a light story.

Ambik methylfolate or folinic. These are active forms, ready to be utilised by your bodies. Sun a lot. Eat clean.


Utk kesekian kalinya, Methyl Folate or Folinic, bukan folic.


Anyway Malaysian study wrt NTD showed strong association with mtrr mutation. LowB12, that is usually masked by high folic levels. Supplementation < nature. Nature has a safety valve that synthetics do not possess.

IR in AM and late afternoon sun for hyperpigmentation! Kalau parut berlubang also will help build collagen but i do use microneedling to speed up the process. Not sure this is good or bad but it works for me untuk parut berlubang/more rejuvenated skin.

No wonder achlim soaps habis their argan sgt luxurious. I potong in small sizes for facial use. Alt is Mary jardin soap, no hormone disruptors. Sabun kayakalp or achlim BSO or achlim version of aleppo soap. Tukar2. Shampoo is hairinque macadamia. Nupur. Hamam clay scrub.

Also dry brushing and guasha. Tak bagi lymphatics lancar bukan skincare namanya.

Scrub paling senang is sandalwood powder, can add bentonite clay for calming effect, and or add rose powder if oily skin. Mudah.

1. Skincare : beli homemade Gelenggang soap dekat shopee as cleanser. Moisturiser at night pakai iunik centella gel. Haircare : shampoo Rejoice anti-dandruff, conditioner tak pakai since it triggers my back acne, ganti dengan air lemon/limau nipis. 2 minggu sekali hairmask nupur.

2. Skincare 0. Skali skala gua sha guna spoon. Shampoo main pakai but once a week. Before KM everyday kena shampoo n still dpt complaint bau now once a week n no more complaint. My scalp really better now. Sabun pun pakai je whatever husband beli. My life is so simple now. Love it!

3. Skincare: Aleppo soap (all over body usage heheh) + Innisfree moisturizer (nak habiskan and won't repurchase). Claymask kalau rajin Shampoo: milbon plarmia balancing scalp shampoo (hairdresser recommends since I workout nearly every day).

4. Sabun: sandalwood soap. Pakai kat muka sekali sebab tengah eliminate excess estrogen. Dah habis detox nanti baru introduce new product kot lol Shampoo: pakai nupur je seminggu sekali sebab again tengah detox . tak shampoo sebab tak bau and tak berminyak pun lol

5. Skincare: water and clean towel Skin and hair: guna apa yang ada je Tapi barber cakap I shampoo too frequent (setiap hari). Paling frequent pun dia recommend once every 2 days

6. Sandalwood powder + rose water to wash my face. Shampoo is soap by @KucingKuncitara . Nupur once a week.
Scrub is sandalwood powder + tomato pulp and brown sugar every 2-3 days.

7. Achlim argan oil soap je for now 😀. Rambut & scalp rasa bersih, not stripped. Tak gatal2

8. Kayakalp kekadang pakai dari kepala sampai kaki. Shampoo apa yang mama beli. Aleppo tukar2 dengan kayakalp untuk badan. Nupur 1minggu sekali. Scrub muka&badan pakai kopi/sandalwood + epsom salt + pink salt.

9. Selain skincare yang basic, GUASHA sangat membantu. Muka rasa firm, sampai rasa sendawa pun ada. Dry brushing biasa buat dekat kaki. Memang rasa “ringan” sebelum tidur. Dry brushing kena buat sebelum mandi.

Skin, shampoo, dental, deo. Not in pic is my multipurpose bepanthen nappy rash cream aka my lip balm. Details later.

Firstly, type your skin. I suggest using @SkinTypeSol Don't take generic advice from strangers on the net.

Cleanser is Mary Jardin facial soap *in plastic container* MJ kultus kedekut mmg dia advice potong kecik2 pun. 'Toner' LRP thermal water. Post sun, ByBi babe balm or VitC/coffee/probiotics cream.

prefer herbal shampoos from Indian sundry shop but family likes mongoo. I've even made own shampoo or used shampoo bar *mehnaz* which can also be used as cleanser *natural oils avocado olive argan* Hair oil is a mix of castor/argan/Indian herbal mixture. Not in pic.


Dental/oral. Plastic bottle contains vco+thieves eo for oil pulling. Home made dental paste in plastic container vco/bentonite clay/peppermint+thieves eo + frankincense gum resin. Dental Pro 7 is a mixture of honey and eo for gum health.

My own deo is small roll on bottle. Argan+a mixture of my fav eos. I have a few bottles just showing one. It's bacteriostatic.

Lastly Dry brushing either cactus brush by body shop or clay pumice by Achlim. I prefer the pumice, wet, during bath. Buffalo horn guasha. I do for face scalp body after bath.

EOs are from Ilpuro Malaysian company, sources them from cottage farms all over the world. Highly recommended. Fair prices, cheap for eo.. Packaging are made by kampung folk using mengkuang and sahm makes the rest

This is my go to for lip balm. Amazing for eczema which I don't have anymore. Insect bites, bleeding ouchies what have you skin inflammation.

Ozone olive oil by Global Healing for skin abrasion, mouth ulcer, ouchies, scrapes, face oil if I'm desperate.


For breakout and repair. Bought these umpteen years ago. Still works.

Skin is a complex organ

 Apakah yg buat hormon?

Mentari pagi.

When you have circadian disruption, cortisol will finally burn out, because the body has to keep up with demands outside of normal hours. The body steals progesterone to make more cortisol. Stress=poor skin. Ppl with cortisol issues will have poor skin health.

Hormonal imbalance = breakouts with sun until progesterone catches up. I had this, but I knew my hormonal panel so I wasn't worried. Read progesterone steal syndrome.

I saw a comment, 'muda2 tak pakai skincare, tua2 jeragat'. Tua2 hormones gini, ya. No skincare will save you 🤭 but hormonal health will lessen the impact. Beautiful monies people turn to HRT, which you aren't licensed to peddle.
If your progesterone is low, sedih saya ramai yg muda dah gini; sebab 📱 + avoid sun. Makan seed oil/hfcs-> Nafld/nash. Sementara hormon, microbiome, badan nak pulih, you will 🌋
Acne. Bintik. Kenapa. Blue light, ALAN. Nnemf.

Kulit berkaitan rapat dengan kesihatan usus. Apa yg dijana di usus? Serotonin. Sebab itu juga ianya berkaitan dengan kemurungan. GAPS diet ialah gut and psychology syndrome diet. Autoimmune paleo. Faham kenapa saya suruh ikut diet ini sekarang?
