UV and DNA damage

This happened because cells are dehydrated from poorly fx mitochondria.

Those electrons that knocked out can be used to split water into hydrogen and oxygen to feed mitochondria. Less water produced by mitochobdria = more DNA damage

Even if dna is damaged, your body can repair it within 24 hours of exposure. Here it shows cyclobutane pyrimidine dimers ( CPD ) , marker for DNA damage gone after 24 hours. Thanks to redlight present in sunlight that enhance DNA repair activity.

There are many more components involved in minimizing UV radiation, but the main point here is that we should start to see our bodies as a blessing to have this repair mechanism. Don't underestimate the capabilities of the human body that evolve around the sun.
